The Triplets of Belleville - Les Triplettes de Belleville (The Trio of Beautiful Village) is a 78-minute animated film produced by France. Written by Sylvain Chomet, the film tells the story of an orphaned boy, Champion, who grows up in the care of Madame Souza alongside the chubby dog Bruno. Champion rarely speaks and always gazes at a picture of his parents, seeming to understand his sadness. Madame Souza, sensing Champion's sorrow, strives to do everything to make him happy.
